unconventional thought provoker + digital media + developmental program creator + re-inventor of the wheel + constant contradiction + social disruptor
I’m a real human-mom, woman-on-a-mission to change the world for women today and generations to come.
“I believe in being perfectly imperfect, just crazy enough and totally unconventional, everyday.™
I reinvent the wheel every chance I get – I’ve been doing it since I was a kid, wanting to find my own way of doing things, believing there was a different way – maybe a better way.
It drove my teachers crazy, I was always getting in trouble for coloring outside of the lines and for not following directions.
I’ve spent many years fighting against “convention” because I don’t believe women are one-size-fits all humans. I believe we are each unique and beautiful individuals and should be celebrated and supported as such.
And who is “society” anyway, to tell us what we’re expected to do and how we’re expected to do it.
I believe each of us has our own path to follow and our own way of getting there, sometimes we just need a little help figuring out a strategy.
Society, again, has conditioned most everyone to feel as though “fitting in” is the end all, the goal.
I’ve never fit in – growing up, that was all I wanted – it wasn’t until I began to embrace the fact that I don’t fit in, that I finally got to know who I was.
I created the Unconventional Everyday™ digital media + lifestyle brand to serve as a platform upon which to work with and teach women how untangle the mess and get from stuck to unstoppable, to stop the free-fall and to learn to live unapologetically, following their own path, their own way.
- I’m a professionally trained Life, Relationship, Sex + Intimacy coach turned Women’s Issues Strategist.
- I’ve studied the general dynamics of women and women’s whole-human wellness (ie behavioral, emotional, coping skills, healthy habits, etc.)
- Communication (Translating feminine vs masculine, relational, love languages)
- Relationships (Self, intimate, familial, friendship)
- Feminine Embodiment
- Masculine + Feminine Energy
- Femininity and Polarity, specifically applied to intimate relationships.
- Feminine Magnetism
- Energy and Attraction
- NLP + Hypnotherapy / Rapid Reprogramming
- Trauma, Abuse + Manipulation (Self/Child)
Long story short, I teach women how to untangle the mess and create a strategy to move forward.
Merriam-Webster defines a strategist as a person skilled in making plans for achieving a goal, someone who is good at forming strategies. Wikipedia goes into a bit more detail explaining that creating a strategy generally involves setting goals and determining actions to achieve them and mobilizing resources to execute the actions.
As a strategist, I help you identify issues, blocks and hurdles then creating a very do-able and creative strategy to get you from where you are to where you want to be.
I don’t just create a strategy for you, I’ll teach you how to create strategies as well, I like comparing it to, teaching you how to fish, not just giving you a fish.
The trick in creating a very do-able and successful strategy is, you first need to understand and define the issue or “block” that’s holding you back or keeping you from where you want to be or what you want to accomplish.
Once you identify the block, you can deal with it so you’re not just putting a bandaid on the “symptom”.
Now, it’s time to develop a clear, thought out very do-able strategy, a concise plan of action or roadmap, to get you from where you are to where you want to be, to get you from stuck to unstoppable.
With a successful strategy you should always be able to measure the progress you’ve made.
Where my process differs from other, more mainstream strategists is the combination of analytical, creative and unconventional thinking combined with the harnessing of your feminine energy.
If you think you might be interested in working with me, please read the following:
- Do you work better when the issue(s) are directly pointed out and identified, learning strategies on how to process your feelings in a healthy and productive manner, shift, make a concrete plan to move forward?
- Do you want to learn how to identify and fix the issues as they come up?
- Are you more strategy driven?? (Point A, B, C, Step 1, 2, 3)
- Do you prefer a more direct and methodical approach on how to get from here to there??
- A specific focus on untangling the mess and creating an action driven roadmap.
- Do you prefer an analytical + pragmatic – yet creative + unconventional thought process??
I was fascinated by the concept of coaching and teaching online which seemed to offer a limitless “platform”, one not confined by the constructs of society. So I dove head first into coaching-training and learning how to write, create and teach online courses and programs.
My method of practice grew further and further away from the standard “coaching” method to the point where I really didn’t feel comfortable calling myself a “coach”. I actually never felt truly comfortable trying to call myself a coach because there were aspects of the standard coaching practice that I just didn’t buy into so I finally took a step back and re-evaluated my method and identified what I was actually doing, hence the “re-branding”.
I’m very direct and focused on the end goal – your end-goal.
If you Google “wellness”, depending on your search, most will bring up anywhere from 4 to 12 aspects of wellness, some lists say the same thing, some are totally different, which might make you scratch your head and wonder what the heck “wellness” actually is.
As I do like to reinvent the wheel every chance I get, I kind of did that here, I created a model of what I consider to be the pillars of whole-human-wellness.
- Energetic
- Emotional
- Mental
- Physical
- Relational
- Social
- Professional
- Financial
- Environmental
- Spiritual
- Creative
- Self-Acceptance + Connection
Everything I do and teach touches on these elements of whole-human wellness. I believe that creating real change for women can’t be done simply by looking at the surface and putting a bandaid on the symptom, I teach women how to be empowered, maximizing their overall, whole-human wellness by:
- Untangling the mess, ie identifying the issues, roadblocks, triggers, etc.
- Creating and teaching you to create successful, do-able strategies that will positively impact your life, getting you un-stuck, further motivating you to make positive changes and commit to achieving your goals
- Educating you to identify the “what” and “why” to help you avoid getting stuck in the future, or immediately creating an out-strategy if you do.
- Empowering you to take ownership of your life and your progress.
- Supporting you so that you stay on track, getting the results that you want and not getting bogged down or held back by others.
⚡️ My ultimate goal is to support lasting behavioral change by partnering with women who want to feel better, regain their independence, and learn strategies to overcome obstacles as they come up.
My continued studies in women’s issues has led me to focus primarily on relationships, sex + intimacy, which for most women, are 3 of the most difficult issues to deal with because they encompass all aspects of a woman’s whole-wellness, and also because they can be the most difficult and uncomfortable to talk about making it even more difficult to ask for help in dealing with.
If you search “definition of relationships” on Chrome, the following definition from Oxford Languages is the first listed:
- the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.
- the state of being connected by blood or marriage.
Relationships are also explained as the way in which two or more people or groups regard and behave toward each other.
Different types of relationships:
- Self
- Familial
- Romantic + Intimate
- Professional + Work
- Casual Acquaintances
⚡️ I do a lot of teaching on the relationship we have with ourself as I believe it is the foundation upon which all of our other relationships are built. So, if we have a dysfunctional relationship with ourself, it’s going to be very difficult not to create dysfunctional relationships with others.
Society has conditioned us to wince at the thought of talking about sex creating a growing level of dysfunction surrounding it.
Sex + Intimacy are deeply intertwined, but intimacy does not only apply to sex. There are many levels of intimacy aside from sex.
If you search “definition of sex + intimacy” on Chrome, the following definition from Oxford Languages is the first listed:
- close familiarity or friendship; closeness
“the intimacy between a husband and wife” - a private cozy atmosphere
- an intimate act, most often referring to those of sexual nature
Intimacy is also explained as the closeness between people in personal relationships, building over time as people connect, grow to care about each other and feel more comfortable with each other and during their time together. Intimacy includes both physical and emotional closeness.
For women, intimacy can also include feeling emotionally connected and supported.
All humans have both masculine and feminine energy. Did you catch that? We all have both?
And we all bring both energies to everything we do, including relationships, sex + intimacy – the trick is finding balance of our masculine and feminine energy.
Me, for example, a lot of my work is masculine, strategic and analytical – as two examples. But I also use the feminine, creative, expressive, compassionate and my favorite –not abiding by social norms. It’s funny to me that that’s an inherent trait of feminine energy.
In all of my programs you’ll find exercises in balancing your energies.
I’ve recently been made aware of something very, very troubling and want to allow some focus to advocate for and help those who might be struggling with issues related to abuse, trauma and/or victim manipulation.
I’m opening this up for women who have dealt with these issues, or mom’s who need guidance on how to help their children deal with them.
I’m not a licensed therapist, but I’ve been there and done that.

That’s me, on the left, in the black – at my daughter’s wedding.
I’m very much an enigma, a constant contradiction – black, at a wedding – yeah, that’s me.
Men have referred to me as a “novelty”, but that one makes me uncomfortable.
Fellow-Yellowstone fans might appreciate this one, I feel like I’m an interesting combination of Teeter, Beth and Pink.
I’ve been blessed to do a variety of things as an adult, I was cowboy photographer, then a successful clothing designer, then I trained horses and now I’m training humans.
During each of these opportunities, my main “job” was mom and instead of hiding my mistakes from my daughter, I used them to teach her.
In the back of my mind I always thought I could do the same to help other women – I thought I could somehow use my story and my survival to teach, counsel – to do something.
I don’t believe that we should allow anyone else, our past, or our mistakes the power to define us, I believe that we should allow only our ourselves to define who we are.
I believe there is more to life than what we see, I believe that one of our strongest powers as humans, especially as women, is what we feel.
I’ve always been very good at developing successful and creative strategies, but when I started combining strategy + energy – that’s when everything changed.
When I finally realize that I could release myself from anxiety, fear – that was also a game changer.
I live by the struggle of the twins, which I finally chose to see as a blessing, one giving me a very unique and unconventional way of looking at – everything.
I graduated with honors from Hard Knocks University. Every lesson I’ve learned, everything I teach is something I survived and believe will help you.
I am putting to work my unique way of looking at – everything – using my experiences and knowledge to help others learn, grow and overcome, move forward and succeed, living a fabulous, unapologetic life.
This is me, I’ll always be real with you, always.
